Today is 12-19-08 and I have found a way! Last week , was the Christmas Party for the sisters and brother of my mother. A family tradition and a fun filled evening. There were games , food, food, and more food.... We played drop the clothes pin into a jar, ring toss, pass the gift to musicand when it stops... You got it ,you keep the gift. Where do the gifts come from? Well ,each person brings about 6-7 inexpensive wrapped gifts for this purpose. The party includes Christmas caroling and at the end of round one gifts are exchanged ,because in Sept, at the family reunion we drew names from a hat. (very original). Close to the Midnight hour ,it is time to eat more. Sing "Here comes Santa Claus" , and others , again. By 2 AM ,most everyone has slowed down, some have gone home and some bed down on extra beds and sofas, because they know that breakfast begins at 5 AM with the works. Everyone helps cook and eat,again.
